My Services
Deep Tissue Massage
Massage therapy is an excellent preventative health care measure.
Massage therapists treat clients by using touch to manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body. With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help heal injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of clients
A deep tissue massage is a longer process of getting the muscles to relax so the massage therapist can get to the lower layer of connective tissue. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.
Swedish Massage
A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Yet the benefits of Swedish massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.
Swedish massage is one of the most commonly offered massage techniques. It’s sometimes called a classic massage. The technique aims to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension. Swedish massage is gentler than deep tissue massage and better suited for people interested in relaxation and tension relief.
Pre-Natal Massage
Pregnancy is a powerful and exciting time. It can also be exhausting. A prenatal massage is a great way for expecting mothers to find relief and relaxation. Your therapist is specially trained in how to position and support your body throughout the massage.
Prenatal massage can help to relieve aches in your back and neck, and address leg cramps. Fewer aches and pains can lead to a better night’s sleep. Prenatal massage can also improve circulation, help reduce nervous tension, and help relieve depression or anxiety. Remember to speak with your OBGYN first to decide if prenatal massage is right for you. Then, talk to your massage therapist about adding elements of prenatal massage to your next session.
